  • Can I buy tickets for flights directly at the airport?

    Tickets for air travel can be purchased with the following companies:

  • How to buy tickets to travel by plane?

  • What to do in case of flight loss?

    • • Refund of the ticket price: If the passenger decides not to make the trip, they can request the airline, within 24 hours of their purchase, to refund the ticket price. After this period, the airline can determine the conditions of the cancellation.

    • • Delay or delay: The causes or reasons for the flight delay or delay must be reported by electronic means or passenger service modules. If the delay or delay is attributable to the airline, the airline must compensate the passenger, in accordance with the following:
      •     a) Longer than 1 and less than 4 hours: provide at least discounts for subsequent flights to the same destination and/or food and beverages.
      •     b) Greater than 2 but less than 4 hours: in case of discount, it must not be less than 7.5% of the ticket price.

  • How far in advance should I arrive at the airport to check baggage?

  • How much should checked baggage and carry-on baggage weigh

    Usually, the baggage allowance in the cabin is 10 kg, while for checked baggage the weight ranges between 20 and 30 kg. However, the weight and amount of luggage you can travel with depends on each airline, as well as the fare you have contracted. For more information, please contact your airline directly.


  • Where can baggage be weighed inside the airport?

    • Free of charge, at the PROFECO module, in front of gate 5 on the Departures Level, floor 3.
    • With the packing company, located in front of gate 5 on the Departures Level, floor 3, service with cost.


  • What documentation must be submitted to be able to enter the Security Filters?

    • In case the loss is by the airline:
      • Contact directly in person with airline personnel or by telephone.
    • Loss by the user inside the Passenger Terminal Building:
      • Go to an Information Module inside the Airport to request help or call 55 5798 9800.
      • Describe the object.
      • It is important to show an official ID or document proving ownership.

  • Passengers or senior citizens?

    Most airlines have escort service to provide personalized attention in your check-in, boarding and in-flight process until you reach your destination. This may have an additional cost.

    If a wheelchair is required, it can be requested directly with the airline or at the Airport Information Modules.


  • Passengers or users with disabilities?

    The AIFA has different services and facilities for people with disabilities in order to make their stay and movement within the airport more comfortable.

  • Traveling with pregnant women?

    IATA (International Air Transport Association) recommends travel up to 36 weeks of pregnancy when there have been no complications. However, each airline establishes its conditions, and may require a medical certificate that accredits the passenger's ability to travel depending on the week of gestation that it determines.


  • Where is baggage collected on flights from Arrivals?

  • Can you travel with medication?

    Ground floor, next to the Passenger Terminal Building.


  • How to get to the Bus Terminal from the Passenger Terminal Building?

    On the ground floor, exit through Gate 5, turn left, continue along the corridor to column E, enter and take the elevator to floor 2, cross the corridor following the signs to the elevator and descend to the ground floor.


  • Where is the Mexibus located at the airport?

    Ground floor, next to the Intermodal Terminal for Land Transportation.


  • How to get to the Mexibús?

    • From the Airport: exiting through Gate 5, turn left and continue over the corridor until the end.

    A. Circuito Exterior Mexiquense:

    The road interconnection to the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense is the main vehicular entrance to AIFA. The road consists of 3 entry and 3 exit lanes and is located in the section of the Tultepec-Santa Lucía toll booth, with an approximate length of 4.5 km.

    B. Mexico-Pachuca Highway. ($63.00 toll):

    Either through the toll or free option, those who come from this highway make a connection with the Military Zone Junction, through which in an extension of 8 km they access the area of the AIFA passenger terminal. The junction is a road distributor that connects the airport with 3 important points in the Metropolitan Area: Naucalpan, Texcoco and Querétaro.
