It is recommended that the passenger arrives at the airport:
• 2 hours before boarding time for international flights
• 1 hour before boarding time for domestic flights.
• If you do not have documentation, it is recommended to arrive at least 1 hour before boarding time.

For allowed, prohibited and restricted items in carry-on baggage, the following is recommended:
To speed up access to security filters, it is not necessary to remove accessories such as glasses, earrings, bracelets, watches or rings.
It is important to place metal objects such as keys, coins, pens, etc. in the trays of the Security Filters or store them in hand luggage.

AIFA has a Bus Terminal with different connection points between Mexico City and the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico, as well as different states of the Mexican Republic
Within the AIFA facilities there is a lodging establishment managed by the HOLIDAY INN hotel chain.
At Military Base Area N°1., there is the Hotel Santa Lucia of the Secretary of National Defense.

• For the enjoyment of passengers is the Plaza Mexicana, which contains a viewpoint where you can see the Control Tower and flight operations.
• Likewise, there is the Central Garden, located between the Parking Lot and the Passenger Terminal Building.
• To enjoy cultural activities, passengers can visit the Museums that are dedicated to the History of Aviation of the Mexican Air Force, the Paleontological Museum of Santa Lucia, Quinamétzin or better known as the Mammoth Museum, and the Historical Cultural Train Museum that is made up of three wagons, which after being rehabilitated serves as a meeting room, cafeteria and a reading and coexistence center.
• Under this same scheme there are three cars of the Presidential Train Olivo in which you can admire, bedrooms with original furniture that housed presidents and high officials.
